You can phone or email at any time you like and I will get back to you as soon as possible. Once a process has begun you can decide when you would like to be informed of any progress made. Clear and responsive channels of communication are vital to the client/designer relationship.
There is no charge for an initial meeting to discuss ideas and another to present the ideas I have drawn up, this is part of the service! Exceptions to this may be if a long travel is needed for further meetings or the design is in competition with others for a tendered comission.
Although the workshop in based in Waltham Abbey on the Herts/Essex border I would try and meet personally with anyone within the UK obviously within reason. Given the many forms of digital communication open to us it is possible to conduct a design process across a large distance without any problems.
This will depend on quite a few factors including the complexity of the project, scheduled projects already deposited, if the piece is needed for a special occasion etc. Every porject is unique and an expected schedule will be outlined once a design has been agreed upon.
Yes, a deposit is needed to cover initial costs of materials and secure the design. This would normally be 50% of the total price or less if it is a particularly large projetc. The balance is always paid on the day of delivery.
Yes you are very welcome to see the making process in action at the workshop. I would encourage this as part of the process unless you want the suspense and surprise of waiting until delivery!
Delivery is included in the agreed price at the start of the project. I will deliver and install all pieces myself to make sure you are fully satisfied.
